Smart Start-Ups Program
The 2023 Taipei Smart City Summit & Expo will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, from March 28 to 31, 2023.
A delegation from the General Directorate of Geographical Information Systems of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of Türkiye, as well as a Türkiye Smart Cities Startup Delegation, will participate in the event.
To emphasize the importance of initiatives in the smart city domain, the 2023 Taipei Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE) plans to organize the "Smart Starts-Ups Program," which will include representatives from startups around the world. The program will feature a "Turkish Startup Delegation Stand Area" with a significant number of startup companies.
The Program's Objectives are:
- To initiate potential collaborations for smart cities and build bridges for startups.
- To facilitate the growth of more inclusive ecosystems for startups in the smart city industries.
As part of the Program organized by the Taiwan Computer Association, a delegation consisting of startup companies operating in the smart city sector will be included in cooperation between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of Türkiye and the Taiwan Computer Association.
The Türkiye Smart Cities Startup Delegation will include the following benefits from March 28 to April 1, 2023:
- Participation of Turkish startups in a collective booth area.
- Accommodation for one representative for 5 nights (arrival on March 27, 2023, and departure on April 1, 2023, with the transportation to Taiwan being covered by the startup representative).
- Invitations to specific event activities.
- Logo representation on the SCSE website and printed materials.
- Access to the online matchmaking system and participation in the online Startup fair from March 1 to December 31, 2023, via the online platform.
