5G-MOBIX Project Introduction Webinar Was Held

5G-MOBIX (5G) is a European Union Horizon 2020 project for Cooperative & Connected Automated Mobility on X-border corridors), aims to develop autonomous vehicle functions by taking advantage of basic innovations such as low latency, high bandwidth and advanced artificial intelligence techniques provided by 5G technology. The project is being carried out with 59 partners from 10 countries. Trial sites are created in six different countries and the developed technologies are previewed. Last May, the technologies developed within the scope of the whole project in the Türkiye-Greece border crossing corridor were demonstrated with various usage scenarios.

Moderated by Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Computer and Informatics Dean Prof. Dr. Sema F. Oktuğ'un and Ford Otosan 5G-MOBIX Project Responsible Tahir Sarı, Turkcell 5G R-Give Senior Specialist Dr. Gökhan KALEM and researcher in TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Arda Taha Candan who was planned to include as a speaker. But Dr. Gökhan KALEM could not attend the webinar due to his mother's illness. Our webinar was held with intense participation with the participation of two other speakers. In the webinar, the studies carried out within the scope of the 5G-MOBIX Project, the development process of 5G-MOBIX, the technical stages, the benefits and difficulties for stakeholders were discussed.
