Path of the Mind Awards in Transportation, gave information about his thesis on "Evaluating Bus and Signal Priority Options in a Network: Derbyshire County Case Study", and Çolakoğlu's thesis advisor Margaret Carol Bell, Professor of Transportation and Environment at NewCastle University, who was awarded the royal decoration for her work, participated as a speaker.
