Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Transportation, Maritime and Communication Research Center R&D Funds Information Meeting Was Held

An online meeting was held on 26 May 2022 in cooperation with Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (MoTI)  Transport, Maritime  and Communication Research Center (TMCRC), which is the responsible organization of the action, and ITS Türkiye within the scope of "Inclusion of ITS projects in the support programs of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure", which is the first implementation step of the action "Establishment of Incentive Mechanisms for the Development of Domestic and National Technologies" within the scope of the National Intelligent Transportation Systems Strategy Document and the 2020-2023 Action Plan.

At the meeting, TMCRC informed about the support call topics and durations planned for the coming period in the fields of ITS and Electronic Communications and MoTI R&D. The questions of the sector were answered with a detailed presentation on the application, valuation and finalization processes of the supports.  

In the informative presentation made by the TMCRC Presidency regarding the purpose, scope, general and technical definition, duration, budget, special conditions, sharing principles of the intellectual property rights that will arise after the development of the projects, MoTI 'Regulation on the Support of Research and Development Projects' and other relevant legislation to evaluate all applications within the framework of the scientific principles that will determine each stage of its activities.  Sector stakeholders who want to benefit from the supports were advised to follow the call processes.
