ITS Academy 2022 Trainings Completed.
We took first the ITS Academy Trainings, which we organized jointly with ERTICO at the SummITS'22 2nd International Intelligent Transportation Systems Summit and made traditional at our next summits, one step further. Within the scope of the "4.4 Training of Qualified Human Resources in the field of ITS " action included in the National Intelligent Transportation Systems Strategy Document and the 2020-2023 Action Plan, we planned three different ITS trainings online in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and completed them with our trainers, each of whom is an expert in their field.
The first of the trainings, which were held online with the participation of all employees interested in intelligent transportation systems from local administrations, public institutions and the private sector, was given by Dr. Fatih Gündoğan on 21.11.2022 on the subject of "Shared Mobility" and the second was given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müjdat Soytürk on 12 December 2022 under the title of "Connected and Autonomous Vehicles". The third one was given by Serhan Ünalan and Oğuzhan Sarıtaş on 29 December 2022 under the title of "Electric Vehicles in the Focus of Smart City Transformation". Shared Mobility – Dr. Fatih Gündoğan
Training on Shared Mobility organized by Streadlab founder Dr. Fatih Gündoğan on 21 November 2022. It was handled through 5 main headings such as Sustainability Demand Management, Micromobility, Transportation Demand Management, Mobility as a Service MaaS and Shared Mobility.
Connected and Autonomous Vehicles – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müjdat Soytürk
The training on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, which was held by Marmara University Venit Lab Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müjdat Soytürk on December 12, 2022, was discussed on the main headings of ITS, C-ITS, the future and current situation of C-ITS, the innovations and benefits brought by C-ITS and V2X, Connected Vehicle Technologies Applications and V2X Communication and Technologies, Autonomous Vehicles and In-Vehicle Information and Communication Systems.

"Electric Vehicles in the Focus of Smart City Transformation" training was held by Serhan Ünalan, Research Assistant at the University of Portsmouth and Oğuzhan Sarıtaş, Co-Founder of Car4Future, on 29 December 2022. Urbanization, Smart City Transformation, Problems and Solutions, Smart City and Innovation, Democratization of Consumption and Electric Vehicles were discussed through the topics.
